Purpose - To provide financial assistance to members of the Sault Tribe in Michigan who are upper-division or graduate students.

Eligibility - This program is open to members of the Sault Tribe who are college juniors or higher and are one-quarter Indian blood quantum or more. Applicants must be attending an accredited Michigan 4-year public college or university on a full-time basis and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. They must be able to demonstrate financial need.

Financial data - The stipend is $1,000 per year.

Duration - 1 year; may be renewed.

Number awarded - 1 each year.

 Deadline - May of each year.
