Purpose - To provide financial assistance for undergraduate and graduate studies to enrolled Tlight or Haida tribal members.

Eligibility - This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must be Tlight or Haida tribal members, regardless of service area, community affiliation, origination, residence, tribal compact, or signatory status. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be attending ( or planning to attend) school on a full-time basis. Selection is based on financial need, a statement of personal goals, and a list of academic, professional, and/or personal activities.

Financial data - The stipend is $1,000.

Duration - 1 year.

Number awarded - 3 each year: 1 to a graduating high school senior, 1 to a undergraduate student, and 1 to a current graduate student.

Deadline - September of each year.
