Purpose - To provide financial assistance to members of the Keeweenaw Bay Indian Community (KBIC) of the Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians who live in Michigan and are interested in attending college in the state.
Eligibility - This program is open to enrolled KBIC tribal members who are residents of Michigan. Applicants must be attending or planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university in Michigan to work on an associate or bachelor's degree. They must be able to demonstrate financial need and apply for all other assistance for which they might be eligible.
