Purpose - To provide financial assistance and work experience to Native Americans and other underrepresented minority undergraduate students interested in a career in financial services.

Eligibility - This program is open to Black, Hispanic, and Native American students enrolled as sophmores or juniors and interested in financial services. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Along with their application, they must submit 500-word essays on 1) why they should be considered potential candidates for CEO of the sponsoring bank in 2020; and 2) the special background and attributes they would contribute to the sponsor's diversity agenda. They must be interested in a summer associate position in the sponsor's investment banking, sales and trading, or research divisions.

Financial data - The stipend is $5,000 for recipients accepted as sophmores or $7,500 for recipients accepted as juniors. For students accepted as sophmores and whose scholarship is renewed for a second year, the stipend is $10,000. The summer associateship is a paid position.

Duration - 1 year; may be renewed 1 additional year if the recipient successfully completes the 10-week summer assiciate program and maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Number awarded - Approximately 12 each year.

Deadline - November of each year.
