Commercial Drivers License - CDL Class A

Earn your Idaho or Washington State Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and get a new job in trucking fast!

Our 140 to 160-hour CDL Class A training includes 50 hours behind the wheel, 40 hours of classroom instruction, and up to 70 or more hours of lab, range, and observation.

Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age, have a current Idaho or Washington CDL Instruction Permit, Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Textbook is included in course fees; additional costs for students include license, physical exam, and testing fees.

Do you have a CDL Class A but have been off the road? Sharpen your commercial truck driving skills to get back on the road with confidence. This program also provides training for experienced Class "B" drivers who want to upgrade to a Class "A" license. This 40-hour training includes 8 hours in the classroom, 30 hours of skills proficiency development (behind-the-wheel) and 2 hours of testing or evaluation.
