Certified Nursing Assistant Program

Start your career in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. You will be prepared to enter the workforce as a health  care professional and for the state exams required for placement on the Idaho Nurse Aide registry. This is an ideal program for pre-nursing and pre-med students too.  The class components include online assignments, class skills practice and clinical experience at local healthcare facilities. Course includes customized lab manual, professional guest speakers, Customer Service in Health Care certification, CPR certification, and comprehensive list of employers ready to hire.

Clinical Requirements

  1. TB test within 6 months (FREE tests offered in class)
  2. MMR vaccination (2 doses) or Titer
  3. Varicella vaccination, Titer, or History
  4. Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap)
    vaccination
  5. Hepatitis B vaccine series or titer
  6. Influenza Vaccination in season
  7. Scrubs: Teal Scrubs for classes in Post Falls purchased at Uniforms & More 1801 Lincoln Way Coeur d' Alene
  8. Scrubs: Black Scrubs for classes in Sandpoint/Kellogg purchased at Walmart
  9. Wrist watch
  10. Closed toe shoes: Black or White
