Staff Assembly Meeting
October 9, 2008, 3:00 p.m.
Workforce Training Center, Rm 108
3:07 Gary Coffman called meeting to order
Judy Boyce moved to approve minutes; Tom Lyons second. Minutes were
approved.
Dr. Robert Ketchum explained what WTC does.
E-Learning and Outreach was the featured department. Ann Garnsey-Harter
Director introduced her staff and presented a power-point presentation.
Gary Coffman explained what Meet & Confer does and encouraged employees to submit recommendations by October 15, 2008.
Heather Erickson explained what St. Asnic is and the holiday food drive
Planning will begin soon.
Shelley Cobetto is looking for a small committee (2-3) people to help with the
holiday food drive. Sign up will be at the November meeting
.
Nancy Edwards gave a Senate report
Student Services policies are almost complete. Once complete, Senate will begin looking at the policies that report to Rolly Jurgens.
Gary Coffman provided a Board of Trustees update. Eric presented at the board
meeting, 4.4% credit enrollment and FTE is up 4.5%.
