CRITERIA
All award categories have specific criteria that must be met and demonstrated in the nomination. Please think carefully about the person you are nominating and how they fit the criteria.
EVALUATION AND VOTING
-
All nominations will be reviewed by the Awards committee for eligibility, completeness and that the criteria have been met.
-
After reviewing the nomination, the Awards committee may choose to shift it to another more appropriate award category (e.g., if a full-time employee is nominated for the Part-time Staff Excellence Award, then the Awards committee will shift it to the Staff Excellence Award). In cases where the Awards committee deems a nomination should be shifted to another award category, the nominator will be notified.
-
In cases where the number of nominations may be unmanageable for the final voting process, the Awards committee may rank the nominations and forward a smaller number to the Asssembly for final voting. All nominees selected by the Awards committee will be placed on a ballot along with their nomination information.
-
Each recipient will be recognized and receive their award at the annual commencement breakfast.
