Staff Appreciation Awards 2013

Time to Vote

There were many wonderful nominations received this year – and now it is time to vote!

As a reminder (and as posted on the Staff Assembly website and Staff Appreciation Awards Nomination page), we have convened an Awards Committee to help in the nomination process. The Awards Committee is charged with evaluating the nominations for eligibility, completeness, and that ensure the stated criteria have been met.

The Awards Committee this year is made up of four (4) staff members who have won one of the awards in the past three years (therefore they are ineligible for the awards this year), and one (1) NIC student. In cases where the number of nominations may be unmanageable for the final online voting process, the Awards Committee may rank the nominations and forward a smaller number to the full Staff Assembly for final voting. The number forwarded for final voting at the discretion of the Awards Committee.

With the Awards Committee determinations made, we are ready to open the voting process!

  • Voting is open to members of Staff Assembly only . This includes all benefit-eligible staff members and regular part-time staff members (work study and part-time student workers are not eligible for Staff Assembly membership).

  • This year, voting will be done totally online and accessed from the Staff Assembly website. Staff Assembly members will be prompted to log into the voting website using your regular NIC network login information.

  • Once you are logged in, you will see all nominees under the category for which they are nominated. Each name is hyper-linked to the individual’s nomination information. Please click on each name and read the nomination before you cast your vote.

  • The voting window will be open until 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 30th.  Winners will be announced at the All Employee Breakfast on Friday, May 16, 2014.

I got it - let me vote!
