NIC to host free BBQ, Mother's Day event at softball game

North Idaho College will celebrate Mother’s Day during softball games against Columbia Basin College at noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at Memorial Field in Coeur d’Alene.

NIC student-athletes and athletics staff will give out free flowers to mothers and hot dogs to all at noon as part of the celebration. Flowers and food will be available while supplies last.

The event is free and open to the public.

The softball games and community event are scheduled pending decent weather. Any cancellation due to weather will be announced at www.nicathletics.com.
