Northwest Athletic Conference releases championship brackets; NIC No. 8 seed

The Northwest Athletic Conference has released brackets for the 2022 NWAC Softball Championship. The top 16 teams in the conference are headed to the championship from May 19 to 22 at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex in Spokane.

The North Idaho College softball team finished the regular season ranked second in the East Region, and they enter the tournament as a No. 8 seed. Their first match up will be against No. 9 Douglas College on field five at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19.
