Innovate and Commercialize
Venture Academy is an 8-week course led by the North Idaho College that focuses on innovation, technology commercialization and entrepreneurship. This program will utilize professional content, professional networking, and educational presentations from regional entrepreneurs or business professionals. Topics will include: Innovation and Commercialization Overview, Technology Presentations, Technology Transfer Policies, Intellectual Property, Venture Team Building, Technology Licensing/Optioning, Venture Funding, Venture Development, and Sustainable Growth.
Meet Your Instructor – Lee Groeschl
Lee currently serves North Idaho College as the Venture Center Program Manager. In this role, Lee will be helping advance the Venture Network's mission of entrepreneurial education, programming, intellectual property analysis, and venture development services.
Prior to coming to North Idaho College, Lee served as the EDA Center Consultant for the University of Minnesota. Lee has served in several entrepreneurial roles across the U.S. focusing on new technology venture development services and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Virtual Systems Engineering.
