Venture Academy

Innovate and Commercialize

Venture Academy logoSummer 2021 Venture Academy is an educational program for entrepreneurial or innovative teams (or companies) that are looking to get more perspective on their potential target markets using in-depth customer discovery techniques. These sessions will focus on using the business model canvas and the I-Corps model of customer discovery to further refine and evaluate the market potential of a technology or new venture. This course will consist of 6 sessions in 3 weeks and will target start-ups or entrepreneurial teams that either have intellectual property (IP) protected or plan on pursuing intellectual property as a key asset of their product development or venture. Upon applying for Summer 2021 Venture Academy, each individual or team's registration will be evaluated, and the program will be tailored to meet their individual or team's needs to alleviate any concerns about confidentiality and public disclosure if the team is planning to pursue intellectual property in the future.
