Are you pursuing your general education requirements (GEMS) without a clear program or direction? Unsure of what your academic or career path looks like? We can help! Students who identify an academic path earlier in their college career are more likely to graduate on time and with fewer excess credits.

We can help you discover your path! Career counseling can help you discover and achieve your goals!

What is Career Counseling?

 

Here are 4 things you can do right now to clarify your path:

  1. Participate in a Career Goals Workshop. Sign up now!
  2. If you haven't already, participate in the New Student Orientation online.
  3. Schedule and attend a preliminary meeting with a Career Counselor to consider how Career Services can support you. Email career@nic.edu to get more information.
  4. Take time right now to complete this fun and free online Interest Quiz. O*Net Interest Profiler Online What are your top three Holland Codes from the Interest Quiz? Visit the Interest Areas page now to explore academic programs that match your strengths and interests.
