NIC is OPEN – Classes resume Wednesday, March 18
March 17, 2020
The Office of Instruction will communicate with students letting them know which classes are ready to go online and which classes will remain in physical classrooms and labs, using social/physical distancing protocols. If students have any questions regarding the delivery method of their classes, please reach out to faculty.
College operations, buildings and offices remain open to serve students at all sites: the Coeur d’Alene Main Campus, Parker Technical Education Center, NIC at Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry Center, Silver Valley Center, Aerospace Center, Workforce Training Center, and Area Agency on Aging. Head Start Centers have staffing, but follow their local school district closures for students.
While NIC is maintaining a base level of physical operations at all sites, we have begun migrating many student and academic services to a virtual environment. Continue to check www.nic.edu/coronavirus for the latest updates.
We continue to follow the guidance of experts from Panhandle Health District locally, and from the national CDC. The COVID-19 crisis continues to be a very fluid situation with information changing rapidly.
