Has COVID disrupted your education? Decided to stay close to home but still want to continue your educational path? It is not too late! NIC’s Application deadline is January 6 and we are here to help answer your final questions and get you over that finish line for Spring 2021. Don’t let the pandemic stop you as we offer a safe, adaptable, local, and welcoming learning environment and advisors who can help you transfer your NIC credits anywhere you want to go. Topics will include learning options, deadlines, registration, tuition, and financial aid, advising, and of course, COVID-specific policies and risk management measures.

Dual Credit Info Night for High School Students

Tuesday, December 15 from 5 – 6 pm  &  Tuesday, January 12 from 5 – 6 pm
with Marcy Hoggatt, Dual Credit Coordinator; Michelle Garrett, Employment and Training Services Program Specialist at Workforce Training Center

Get a jump start on college! Learn how you can earn transferrable college credit while still in high school and potentially have one or more years of college completed by the time you graduate. Discover how NIC’s Dual Credit program works, how many credits you can take, the application process, accessing Fast Forward funds to cover costs, and prerequisites that might apply. The session is open to parents, legal guardians, and students. Dual Credit Info Night is ideal for both the potential and new student, as well as the continuing dual credit student who has questions or plans to enroll at NIC after high school.
