Work-Study
Below is a step by step summary of the Work-Study process from determining eligibility to accepting an award.
The Process to be eligible for the Work-Study Program:
1. Complete your FAFSA
2. Your FAFSA will be processed by the Financial Aid Office
3. You will be awarded your offer of Grants and/or Loans, if eligible
4. If you are eligible for the Work-Study Program you will receive a separate email sent to your Cardinal Mail with the following instructions to secure your Apply:
To apply and secure a position, you will follow these steps located in the provided email:
1. Click this APPLY link (located in the email) and complete the application
2. The Financial Aid Office will process your application and provide a Work-Study Authorization (WSA) on your MyNIC Self-Service
3. Search for an open position on the Work-Study Job Board Work-Study Job Board\
4. Contact the supervisor of the open position and request an interview
5. Interview and secure the job
6. Complete the hiring paperwork with the NIC Human Resources Office
