Finals Week Encouragement Email
Student Information For Finals template:
Subject: Finals WeekHello (Name):
I hope you’ve had a good semester so far. There are only two weeks left until finals, and now is the time for you to keep your momentum going and finish this semester as strongly as possible.
Finals can be stressful, but there are resources on campus to help position you for success. Here are a few tips from me:
Work Early – the earlier you get started on studying and finishing those final projects/papers, the less stressful it will be when they all come due around the same time. Make a schedule NOW that helps you organize your work, study and breaks into reasonable chunks.
Take Advantage of Resources – Meet with your professors now if you have questions about their assignments, visit the Cardinal Learning Commons for help, go to the Writing Center if you want someone to read a paper or help with your writing, or visit the Math Help Desk for help in math-related classes.
Take Breaks – avoid study marathons and get outside if you can to enjoy some fresh air. Take advantage of our beautiful campus to take a walk in between classes.
Keep Calm on Test Day – work out, listen to music and relax before your exam. Know the strategies that work best for you and make a conscious effort to incorporate them.
If you would like to come and speak with me, I’d be happy to discuss test preparation, overcoming testing anxiety, study skills, and/or time management techniques with you. I can be reached at (phone) or (email).
Good luck, and I look forward to hearing how the rest of your semester goes!
