Congratulations on your acceptance to NIC!
We are excited to welcome you to the Cardinal community! Whether you are enrolling as a college student for the first time, coming back to school after a break, transferring from another institution, or traveling from another country to attend NIC, we are happy you chose NIC for your academic journey.
There are a few things that you should do after you receive your acceptance letter. Follow the steps below to be prepared for your first day of classes at NIC.
Drop-in advising sessions Jan. 16, 20
Due to application processing delays, additional drop-in advising sessions are available to help students with spring course registration.
Sessions are available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, in the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room of the Edminster Student Union Building and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20 in Blue Creek Bay (2nd floor SUB).
Instruction begins Tuesday, Jan. 20. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor as soon as possible.

Complete the following important tasks prior to attending Orientation so you are able to register in classes at Orientation!
- Complete your Advising Profile
- Complete Math & English Placements
