NIC is hosting its fifth-annual Career and Technical Education Trick or Treat Open House from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 at the Parker Technical Education Center in Rathdrum.
The event is free and open to the public.
The all-ages family event is held indoors where participants can stop at each lab in NIC’s Parker Technical Education Center and collect candy and prizes while learning about the many CTE programs offered at NIC. Last year’s event attracted more than 500 participants.
“There’s so many different activities going on throughout the whole building, so families usually end up having a great time” NIC Marketing and Events Coordinator Elli Michael said. “There’s something for kids of all ages to enjoy.”
The event also offers activities including games, a DJ, contests, giveaways, guided tours of the Parker Technical Education Center and a pumpkin slingshot.
