Lakeview Sip and Study

The NIC Culinary Arts and Hospitality programs provide students with entry-level skills in the food service industry. Students in the programs practice their skills in the student-run restaurant, Emery’s, and at the Lakeview Sip and Study coffee stand where they provide delicious, creative and industry-quality meals to our community.

Culinary Arts Buffet

The NIC Culinary Arts Program is concluding the semester with a buffet at Emery's.
Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1

$15 per person. Reservations recommended. Food options include the following:

  • Carving station
  • Composed salads
  • Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres
  • Charcuterie, crudités, fruit board
  • Desserts!

The Lakeview Sip and Study is your morning go-to for a boost of energy and a cozy place to get things done. The student-run coffee stand is all about serving up signature beverages that help you start strong—whether you’re diving into work, studying, or just easing into your day.

From coffee to energizing blends, the menu is crafted to wake you up and keep you going. The Lakeview Sip and Study is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

With plenty of natural light, comfy seating, and a relaxed vibe, it’s the perfect place to study, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a moment to yourself.

Emery’s and Lakeview Sip and Study are located on the second floor of the Hedlund Building on NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus and can be accessed from the south entrance facing Rosenberry Drive.
