The NIC Workforce Training Center Medical Assistant program is noncredit and prepares students for entry-level employment and eligibility to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) examination.
Idaho does not require medical assistants to hold a state professional license. Requirements vary by state, however, and may include additional certification, registration, education or training. Students planning to work outside Idaho should contact the appropriate state regulatory agency before enrolling to confirm requirements.
