North Idaho College Listens is an event inspired by Idaho Listens and Boise State University's Institute for Advancing American Values. Idaho Listens is a statewide initiative committed to engaging people from different backgrounds, occupations and experiences to encompass a range of values and perspectives about the central issues of today.
The goal of NIC Listens is to provide an opportunity for audiences to listen - truly listen - to individuals from different backgrounds speak about their core values. Speakers are asked to respond to the question: What do you value and why?
