Taking an online class is very different from taking a face-to-face class. The Online Readiness Quiz can help determine whether online classes are a good fit. Participants make selections in the interactive quiz and receive a score based on their responses.

Canvas
NIC's Learning Management System (LMS)
At NIC, every course is integrated with Canvas, and you may be required to locate course materials, submit assignments, or take tests online — even in a face-to-face class. Look at the NIC Syllabus for your course or ask your instructor if you need to use Canvas in their course.
Canvas - Resources for Students
Canvas Essentials for Students is a not-for-credit, self-paced course that is available to all students to refer to throughout the semester. You can access the course modules and materials at any time by selecting the Modules link in the Course Navigation menu. If you are new to Canvas, you will want to begin the course with the Canvas Tour available in the course.
